The Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO heritage, begins at Vietri sul Mare.

The Marina di Vietri sul Mare is a picturesque fishing village that preserves the integrity of its roots, combining them with a large availability of reception, in the extraordinary landscape and environmental setting, enhanced by historical and artistic treasures.

Life in Marina runs quietly over the week. Only on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months its crystal clear sea draws many inhabitants of the area and gives the village the liveliness of a resort town.

This corner of paradise is well placed geographically, very central compared to Pompeii, Paestum, attached to the beautiful and vibrant city of Salerno and well connected with the remaining countries of the Amalfi Coast also by sea from Salerno. Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Scala are only a few kilometers distance from Vietri sul Mare.

The elegant building called Palazzo della Monica, recently renovated, offers  comfortable and large holiday apartments to national and international guests.
The palace was a family “home” and in front of the building, during the ‘800 and until the early ’50, was raging considerable shipbuilding activities.

The second wold war, the floods of 1954 and then the earthquake of 1980 have dealt a serious blow to this economy and a series of vicissitudes have marked the family Della Monica.

Only in recent decades the strength and tenacity of the last woman of this big family, Donna Olimpia, have managed to restore luster to the palace and the appearance of Marina.
